afiUSD is a yield-bearing stablecoin that increases in value over time. When you deposit stablecoins into AFI, they are deployed across top-tier DeFi protocols to generate returns. These returns are reflected in the rising dollar value of afiUSD, making it a more productive form of holding stablecoins.

Is there any lock-in period?
No, there is no lock-in period. You can request a withdrawal at any time. Depending on the withdrawal queue, size, and available liquidity, your funds will typically be processed within a few hours to a few days.

How can I earn more with afiUSD?
Once the first 7 million afiUSD is minted, AFI will launch liquidity pools pairing afiUSD with other stablecoins. By providing liquidity to these pools, users can earn additional yield. In future updates, AFI will introduce automated strategies to help you allocate your afiUSD optimally across DeFi for maximum returns.

You retain full custody of your assets at all times. AFI uses a secure session key framework that lets you grant limited, permissioned access to an agent. For example, you might allow the agent to swap stablecoins for 60 days with a cap of $5,000 per transaction. This enables automated yield strategies without compromising security or control.
